The corridors of power

I found myself back in Aberdeenshire Council Headquarters today for a community planning meeting. It's very strange to be back in Woodhill House wearing a different hat. It's just over two years since I retired from my post there, and what a lot of changes there have been in that time. The building has been completely refurbished and no longer is there 1970s hessian wallpaper and orange and brown curtains - but as I discovered the toilets still sport the original green tiles so at least I felt at home there!
