Osterley House

Went to Osterley House with my sister Alexandra and my niece Thea, it was a gorgeous sunny day and Thea being a huge Batman fan was very excited as the interiors of Wayne Manor in the dark Knight Rises were shot here, I just found a short video in which someone has matched scenes from the movie to shots of the house, here!

See the anthemion or palmette on the ceiling? This is echoed throughout the house on carpets, painted walls and furniture, as are spinxes!

Zebedee and I made tomato soup with cannellini beans for tea.
