The calm before the storm..

One of my favourite things to do in my new house, is to stand on the balcony and watch the clouds rolling in before that almighty storm you know has been a long time coming.
While it may not have been overly sunny these past few days, it has been hot and humid and there has been a sense lingering in the air of a brewing storm. Those clouds look far too ominous for it to just be the evening clouds brining nightfall.

The sound of the wind in this house to accompany these clouds is hideous. Yet I long for the moment the storm begins and I can sit in the warmth of my home watching it unfold before my eyes.
