Up up and away

Was up VERY early this morning to fly out of Queenstown at 8.40. The light was fabulous over the mountains, lots of pinks and peaches and I fully intended to blip them.
The view from the air flying out of Queenstown was also worth blipping and was truly awe-inspiring.
This shot on the other hand was taken through the airport glass and from a distance but I like it because for the first time ever I actually wanted to be in that balloon.

Crazy day. had to fly from Queenstown to Christchurch, then to Welling ton then back to Nelson and then 1.5 hours home - and in time to get to a wedding - only just made it
