This Way

Today, to coincide with my red balloon day and new coloured camera, His Lordship and I are embarking on our very own Awfully Big Adventure which, if we survive, will be chronicled tomorrow.

I thought this sign on a wall, a salient and graphic message to us as we prepare for our overnight expedition.

We have girded our loins with warm clothes and prepared ourselves for any deprivations to come. We have our bows and quivers full of arrows; we have our flint and are ready to make fire and to fight, should the natives prove hostile.
But better still, we can retreat very quickly should we be overpowered by conditions.

In any event, we hope to be back for the big End of Festival Fireworks bonanza tomorrow night.
