Learning day by day

Scary William

Early morning swimming for me and the children whilst Daddy tested out his legs on his bike against the hills of Hertfordshire. The Loire is very flat in comparison. Yet again Carys had a substitute swim teacher, but the 'proper' teacher is back next week and Terri thinks Steve will move her up, lets hope so as Carys is counting on it now.

After a second breakfast Jim took the kids and their scooters to Fairlands so that I could finish unpacking. I also managed to label all of C's new school stuff and started on W's outer wear so that it comes back from Nursery on him.

Late lunch followed by a bit of play in the garden. Jim converted W's scooter to a two wheeler and I took him round to T's on it to post his postcard through her door. A bit more messing in the garden and it was bath time. W insisted on wearing his dressing gown with the hood up as you can see.

Curry for family tea with varying success. W didn't like the curry, a creamy tikka masala, so he ate spicy poppadums, chapatti's and rice. Carys ate the curry but not the poppadums.

One more day of the four family holiday, then Daddy back to work Monday, C and Mummy, Tuesday and W on Thursday. Blipping could then become tricky.
