Lincoln old and new

We took part in the Lincoln Urban Race today and I was pleasantly surprised to finish 5th despite one time losing error and a couple of small ones. Afterwards we took a walk up Steep Hill (which lives up to its name!) to the Cathedral to buy a birthday present from a shop I had spotted on a previous visit, and to have a cuppa and pick up some postcards. Grand day out all told and tomorrow we'll be running round Sheffield!

My blip is of the Cathedral on the hill taken from a bridge over the river amongst the modern University buildings. Probably better in large.
