Stunning Katan

This is one of our beautiful red pandas 'Katan'. He is so handsome, and so friendly! When I come in to feed and service his enclosure he's always waiting down low for his food and ever so gently takes fruit from my hand. I'm making the most of looking after him as he is bound for Adelaide Zoo on a breeding program. He'll be gone by the time I get back.

He was super curious of the camera and if you look closely you can see food crumbs on his nose and whiskers.
