Alligators inhabit these waters!

Our flight back to Sydney is today at 4, so we all decided to spend the day at Palm Cove, one of the beaches in Cairns. The bus ride was about an hour, but the beach is absolutely gorgeous, as all of them are here, and there is a really cute strip for eating and shopping. We read a sigh that said it was an American Navy base in the past or something like that. I don't really remember. Laying out on the beach was very relaxing, especially because we haven't really been able to do it in Sydney yet. It's much warmer up north, but soon enough. Apparently on the way onto the sand there was a sign that said 'alligatora inhabit these waters' which I failed to see, and I also failed to hear Sam read it aloud. I only found out after I went swimming but it's was just a warning, swimming was aloud.

It's been a great weekend in Cairns!! Especially with such great company <3
