Taylor Dam Morning

We have been having a few days which dawned fine but with a layer of low cloud. Not the sort of mornings conducive to trekking up into the Wither Hills for photographing landscapes. But today dawned bright and clear without a cloud in the sky.
So before I took the dogs for their walk I drove up to the Taylor Dam in order to photograph the area in the early morning light.
The dam was like a mirror until a few coots and ducks rippled the surface. But I like the way the intense blue of the sky is reflected in the waters. It was still and peaceful there with little sign of the black swan population. I suspect many of them are lying low and nesting!
