Slingy wonderfulness

So, we haven't had to many sling shots recently. It was pretty hot in the States and the boy has been very uppy downy of late so it hasn't gotten much use. He was feeling quite fragile today, though, so this wonderful contraption has come into it's own yet again.

We had a lovely play in the forest at Moore Nature Reserve, making a den and noticing the Autumn changes. Chickpea even crouched down in proper photography stance to take a picture of the Mr. She looked at the screen immediately and said, "this is blurry." Ha ha, surely she's been watching ME too much!

We also picked some blackberries today and I made a crumble. It was gooood!

A rat update- Bret, the poorly rat, is doing so much better! I am shocked at how quickly his abscess wound is healing. When I first saw how bad (absolutely grotesque) it was I thought he was a goner, but the little guy seems to be on the mend!
