Autumn light

The nights are really drawing in now, but this means that there's some beautiful evening light in the garden. I couldn't resist the effect of the low sun shining through the immature fruits of the Plume Poppy, particularly welcome after an unseasonably warm grey day that's left me feeling quite exhausted - or maybe it's just the irritating virus that seems to be going round the family.
