On the Grapevine

It's been a dull old morning but Lady Marian had a plan for cleaning the uPVC of our conservatory. It's only been up a couple of years, how come it's so grubby? The sun eventually came out around two o'clock and then a couple of hours later there's a sea fog rolling up the river! Don't stop summer, just a few weeks more, please.

This grapevine grows up the supports of our deck (which is one storey up because we live on a steep valley side) and it is absolutely burgeoning with grapes this year. We don't know what to do with them really, don't know if they're for eating or winemaking. A few years back when we had a good crop, we squeezed them for grape juice, which was quite sweet. I expect they'd make wine ... but would it be drinkable? Heaven knows!

I decided that I'd get in amongst them and look out for today's blip.

Cheers

David
