MrB's oldtimer

On his way back from work, MrB popped in to check the honey sales figures and count the cash float (I know 3 people watching cricket in Cardiff who could have done it for him at an attractive price and with a lot of "added-value" reporting). Angie again sold out on the honey and still hasn't fulfilled all requests. Naturally he was concerned she wouldn't be meeting these orders until next week, but being the gentleman he is, he didn't go as far as a written reprimand.

Then he had to disappear on his Yamaha FZR1000 (146hp, 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds) which he has had for 21 years. It looks new to me but he claimed it was filthy, wiping three water stains off one of the rear view mirrors. For the observant ones, MrB's trademark is to have "YY" in all his vehicle number plates (6 I know of). A couple have been Bliped before. We have "GO" but -one up at last on MrB - with sequential numbers 10-14. What I really need is a Porsche to go with the plates - they use "GO" in their ads and a few years ago the number 10. I wonder if there is anyone in Blipland who has a spare unwanted Beast in the garage?

Fantastic sunny day usual routine but a bit of ash tree cutting back with the chainsaw and feeding to the horses who love it as a change to grass, even if it's past it's best.

Hasty visit to butchers at 17:55 to get some bits & pieces for us humans and some dog food. Popped in to the supermarket & met MrC ascending from his sporty bike, the pedal driven type. He had just returned from a quick 56km ride to relax after finishing work this afternoon! He has calves the size of tree trunks which is a good thing in Bavaria - Angie says Lederhosen only look good on men with strong calves.

Dash home before the meat cooks in the car to see Angie disappear with the dogs and riding Sultan.

Hope you are all now looking forward to the downhill stretch in to the weekend. Gather UK & northern France will have a good day tomorrow at least. We get to enjoy it until Saturday.
