Good Start

Angie set off early on Rosie and the dogs in tow. They met Anna-Marie, another horse owning village resident also with a solitary property. At halfway point I collected the dogs - Flash has a hard time in the heat and while the will is there, his 10 years of protecting us and herding the other animals, shows at times. Luna on the other hand can't get enough but having just turned 1, we don't want to overdo it. Luna of course was not a happy Border watching the girls disappear and made it audibly clear on the drive home. On getting out of the car, she made a beeline (sorry) for the gate and so I hurriedly got the three of us indoors and the doors closed.

The day ended trying to correct a stupid mistake I made with the bees. Had moved some used combs (after the honey harvest) to the back door meaning to take them indoors, Forgot for about 6 hours returning to see that a number of bees had reclaimed their stolen property and were trying to rebuild their old home even if the outer walls were now out of plastic not wood. Think I got it sorted without too much damage but still kicking myself in the backside. Hope MrB doesn't read todays Blip.

It's just turned Friday and I am (healthy) exhausted from so many late night Blip sessions. Now going to bed without doing the nightly visits around the world. Please forgive me one & all, I will try to catch up tomorrow but it's going to be a scorcher so could be other priorities (Angie's that is). Hope you all have a great eve of weekend day tomorrow.

(For the Brits, you may have a little smirk if you look at the location map for this Blip)
