Red Fox on San Juan Island - Check Out Those Teeth

We had some good friends come through yesterday....had a wonderful salmon dinner with them last night [thanks Jacquie and Laine], and then we treated them to breakfast this morning. They are on their way back to home port of Anacortes after a full 4 solid months in Alaska and Canada.

Then this afternoon we head to the south side of San Juan Island to check out Cattle Point and the lighthouse. We got only a glimpse of the sun, but the views were beautiful, nonetheless. Then we headed for home, and stopped to see a fox beside the road. He/she was so playful...jumping around, and I couldn't resist posting this photo.
