Macro series - Spider

Today, no time to take a lunch break at work so the only photo opportunity was in the garden. As it is supposed to be the last beautiful day of the year, a BBQ was "de rigueur". A quick wander in the garden and found a great orb-weaver spider (Araneus diadematus) eating its prey. I had to be quick as a fizzy drink was waiting and I didn't wanted it to become warm!
