MUMs

A couple of times I have blipped something from the displays or third sector promotional and information stands that MSPs sometimes sponsor during sitting days in the space just outside the main corridor to the chamber, or in the Garden Lobby.

This week Lothian MSP Sarah Boyack was responsible for securing a space for the MUMs charity to display the wonderful quilt which two of their members have made to support the work the charity does in Malawi. It is inspired by the children's' book "When The Rains Come" written for the charity by poet Tom Pow (whom I have also mentioned before) which has raised an incredible amount of money as have the recipe books produced by the charity's founder Linda McDonald who set out to try and help a maternity hospital in Lilongwe.
