Departure Rotterdam

We're back at sea and back in business. The moment I came on board this morning it was extremely busy. Started the engines and departed to Europoort where two barges were waiting to be towed in tandem to Tampico, Mexico. Had a small meeting around noon with all parties involved like pilot, harbour tugs captains etc and departed at 13:30. We left with the barges alongside each other and just before the breakwaters we separated them and are now towing them in line. Time needed for the Atlantic crossing to Mexico will be around 30 days, weather, hurricanes and ice permitting.
