Things that go bump in the night...

Last night I left my wellingtons out just beside the back door. Imagine my surprise this morning when I looked out and there was this one half way up the back lawn. This meant it had crossed the patio, gone up three steps and a bit across the grass while the other one was half way across the patio. I also found a lady's court shoe further up the lawn.

My only explanation, given the size of the wellies, is a fox with a footwear fetish!!

The wellies are now in the cupboard and the shoe, which came from somewhere else, is now in the bin.
