Summer is still hanging on!

Update from yesterday: That was the caterpillar of the Craesus septentrionalis ...... a type of Sawfly!! Finally found it on Wikipedia!

I couldn't resist blipping another Small Tortoiseshell ....... all the butterflies will have disappeared very soon ....... do hope you like it :-)

I was having a really good day yesterday ........ but it went downhill last evening. One of my fillings came out!!!! Again!!!!! This one was only done a couple of months ago ........ & this time it took a piece of tooth with it! So another trip to the dentist is on the cards next week :-(

My 'pain-in-the-butt' neighbour has finally got round to getting someone to put up her new fence & clear her garden. He was here yesterday ....... but ran out of time to finish the fence which left our gate without a gatepost! So that the garden was secure he put a baton of wood across the two gates & screwed it in place. He was supposed to be back early this morning to replace the post so we could then use our gate! Guess what ...... no sign of him at all today so we cannot get out of the back garden!!

This has rather scuppered our plans to clear a lot of the stuff from the garden tomorrow & take the rubbish down the tip! Perhaps we should just add it to the piles of rubbish in her garden!
