Baby Hedgehog Rescue

This adorable baby nearly ended up under the wheels of our car, but was saved by a very alert SSPCA lady who just happened to be coming the other way at the time. We were on a single track road and pulled over to let her van pass.

Instead of moving her vehicle forward, she suddenly leapt out and rushed towards us, scooping this little one up on the way! She'd spotted him on the verge just in front of us, while we were too busy looking at her van to notice him. How lucky was that little fellow? He'll be taken to an animal sanctuary for safekeeping until he gets a bit bigger. She very kindly held him up while I took this photo!

It quite made our day:-)
