Beach Beauty

One of my favorite beaches by far is the Dungeness Spit pictured here. Ideally I've planned the timing with the high and low tides just so for being able to hike the 5.5 miles to the lighthouse & back. The potential to see sea life is always so appealing & exciting as I make my way. My husband & I didn't have the time allotted to do the full hike but we made our way along the trail so he could at least get a flavor of what to expect.

We went to the Farmer's Market in Sequim but it was more of a craft fair & not a farmer's market to find vegetables etc. at all - very strange for us.

Back to Seattle this evening; saying goodbye to the Olympic Peninsula and hello to old friends.
