Family dinner

Ha ha this quote is not very accurate in my family since nothing seems to stop anyone from eating! Regardless of the atmosphere in the room, the food is usually gone by the end of the meal. Maybe we are more the stressful eater types. When you get an entire family together for a meal there are usually some sparks. It's okay, it's normal. We had a delicious dinner last night with my in laws and although some sparks were definitely flying, everything turned out just fine. We all learn a little more about ourselves when we sit down to a meal where people know you as well as you know yourself.

Serve the dinner backward, do anything - but for goodness sake, do something weird.

Maybe once in a while we need to through a curve ball into the expected course of the evening. Get everyone silly. Laughing makes everything feel better. Wouldn't it be great if we should up for dinner and sat down to desert first? I know quite a few people who would be thrilled with this concept. Certainly nobody would say no to it. The sugar would get everyone happy and smiling. Then, right before you crash from desert, out comes the meal to sedate and calm everyone. It just might be the best idea.
