La Famille (deuxième prise)

Now to the second arrival of a family, this time Thom’s. I really hope that this one is nicer, and things are better with them than the first! So far, so good. They all seem lovely, and it is really really nice to get to meet the people with whom Thom gets on so well! I think I was as excited as him to see them…

But, more on that later. The majority of our day (again) was spent cleaning; changeovers are getting harder and harder to do. A few smoke alarm issues and various other problems slowed us down ever so slightly, and added to our already difficult task. However, all ended up being fine, with all arrivals arriving with a clean home to get into so it can’t be bad! So, once we had finished cleaning we finally got to spend some time with Thom’s family and ordered some food from the site restaurant to take away…unfortunately it did take 50 minutes to arrive. Not what you need really, so all of us ended up eating at 10.30pm. Luckily we were all distracted by conversation and snacks so not all was bad! Was wonderful to spend time with them all, and thank my lucky stars that they were so agreeable and including.

Again, an emergency photograph due to the fact that we were so busy, so here is a macro of a flower!

Great people do things before they’re ready. They do things before they know they can do it…doing what you’re afraid of, getting out of your comfort zone, taking risks like that – that is what life is. You might be really good. You might find out something about yourself that’s really special and if you’re not good, who cares? You tried something. Now you know something about yourself.
