Tian Tian

This is Tian Tian at Edinburgh zoo. She may be pregnant. As pandas are born very small, it may be some time before they realise that she is carrying a baby in her pouch. We didn't see Yang Guang, her male partner, as pandas like to be on their own except when they are mating.

If you are in the Edinburgh area a trip to the zoo is a must.

For those of you that know it, you will know that the zoo is on a significant hill. We have walked to the top and back down.

The highlights of the day were Tian Tian, the otters, the meerkats, and the koala bears. Did you know that as they sleep for many hours sitting on a branch, that they have extra fur on their bottoms?
