Freerange Lucy

Today's blip should have been a flying lesson - one of those activities that people receive as a birthday gift. However low cloud, and then torrential rain, put paid to that. However, watch this space on Saturday when it has been rescheduled! So back to drop off my daughter and say hello to her new pet Lucy, featured on 15th August. Lucy was kept indoors at that point as she had spent almost 6 months in a pen at the Cats Protection Adoption Centre near Glasgow, and needed to adjust to her new situation.

Now she has got the hang of the cat door (lower right pic) and she adores her garden, and the great outdoors. Here you see her close to the raised bed where the kale, courgette and herbs are flourishing. It is great to see her so settled and enjoying the life she was born to. If you are thinking of adopting a cat and live near Glasgow, there are plenty of little felines like Lucy at the Centre looking for a loving home.
