East Side Beach

The forecast wasn't very promising, but I'd arranged to meet up with K and her spaniel Poppy for a walk on the East Side beach so waterproofs and wellies were thrown in the car and Ollie and I set off.

K was also dressed for the expected weather but before long we were each carrying our jackets and casting layers in the warm sunshine! The dogs hurtled up and down the beach, splashed in the waves and then lay down in the shallows to cool off! It was a lovely morning; we had a good walk and catch up and came home with two tired, wet and sandy dogs!
