A Much Brighter Day ....

..... even if it is Friday 13th!!

My husband got out of hospital this morning and is now sleeping soundly trying to catch up on the two nights he lost:-) The spinal x-ray has shown up the damaged vertebrae which were the cause of his initial problem (dizzy spells) and as long as he is aware of how he moves his neck and wears a support collar at times, he should be fine.

The heart problems which were discovered along the way (heart murmur, damaged valve, erratic heartbeat etc in association with his low blood pressure and a very slow heartbeat) are not life threatening, but he will be monitored annually to pick up any changes, so it was reassuring to know that they were spotted in good time.

The NHS may have its problems, but we have been so grateful for all the excellent care and investigations he has had and the staff were all wonderful.

Hopefully, life will resume as normal soon and I can get back to looking at your blips and answering your lovely comments. Thank you to you all:-)
