Freebies in Freshers Week

Walking through the university grounds of Stirling University I am handed a Hawaiian garland by an enthustiastic Fresher though I am clearly not a student. Free sweets follow though I decline an offer of vitamin pills.

My friend complains all she is offered is a condom. She is 65.
