Training Caregivers

Casca and Miriam are our trainers for Caregivers in preschools. They have recently been joined by an excellent primary teacher, Tiyeze.
Originally designed for caregivers alone, it looks like they have included Primary School teachers as well. I'm not surprised since training of teachers leaves a bit to be desired and really they have only one year of teacher-training whereas in Ireland they would have four years.
Bottom line anyway is that this trio could train anyone to teach, they are phenomenal and of course all Malawian, and have learned well from their Irish colleagues.
I see that there were many men including the District Education Manager to the area

This training or Inset as they call it was in Ngongo, a pretty difficult place to get to and in a new primary school building.
