Shapes of past and future

I Park here every day on my way to work, I have been for over a year, and been parking on and off for more than 20 years here but today I spotted this tree, which must have been there for ever but I only saw it today.

The mix of the tree very green and sharp against the house old and solid makes me very aware of the differences in life but that it is all relevant and all connected. The picture would have been a bit bland but for the bright red car in the fore ground.
