" BABY YOU CAN DRIVE MY CAR "

It has been a very hectic day for a Saturday, mainly because to get to Bath by the alotted time, 11.30, we had to get up and be on the road for 9.30. Well it didn't happen. We eventually set off at 9.56, meaning we were half and hour late.

Traffic was heavy, well it is Saturday after all, so eventually arrived about mid-day. It was wonderful to see where my youngest son now lives with his new wife, Kezia. We had taken a small pressie for their new home, and after a quick de-tour around Peasedown St John, eventually found their new home.

I had taken the dress I had made for Kezia with me so she could have a try on. Unfortunately it didn't fit across the back, so I will look after it until Kezia feels she has lost enought weight/bulk. David drove and we followed, to a nice pub at Woolverton, where we all enjoyed a typical pub lunch.

On the way to their house, we had spotted an amazing wind turbine, so because we had more time comingback, we took a slight de-tour and stopped. Phoebe was very excited, as I got out of the car and framed up to catch the wind turbine. We travelled in 'the beast' and Phoebes took over the position of driver!!

Yesterday's blip - for all those trying to guess what it was:
The green element is a glass plate and the top half in the blip is a sweet bowl turned upside down so in fact the white filigree element is actually the pedestal vase/bottom. Mr A chose this piece of antique glass and it usually sits on our mantle shelf above the fire!

Thank you for your comments and at least one person guessed what it was. Well done to him. Sorry there isn't a prize for guessing correctly.

I hope you have all had a very successful Saturday and that you saw some sunshine. Until we 'meet' again, sleep well, hopefully with a lie in, and may your Sunday be a blessing.
