tidy up

We managed to time our time out the flat quite well today. Although we walked into town and back, we avoided the rain completely.

We braved the shops and bought a couple things for the house. Town seemed really quiet until we got to the electricals department of John Lewis. It was heaving! I got the fear.

The shopping continued when we got home - a new oven. When we bought this flat, we didn't check the size of the oven - it's tiny. That will never do.

I haven't blipped a building site for a while so here's the one across from the Guildford. There are joists lying around all higgledy piggledy.
