Finally!

This is the only one of the orange dahlias that bloomed this year. Lots of greenery, which mostly has died off by now, but no flowers anywhere else. I'm so glad I didn't lose this one. When I divide the bulbs, I make sure to replant in several places, for insurance. This time it really paid off. The big flower is about eight inches across.
