Illuminated

St. Francis on my mantel.

I looked up from writing this morning and noticed the wonderful brightness painted on my wall by the sun, illuminating the statue of St. Francis of Assisi.

This was not the paint blip I had in mind! But it came as a gift, and I accepted.
