View from the Lighthouse

We had a Mackintosh meeting today at The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

The Lighthouse was Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s first public commission and is now Scotland’s Centre for Design and Architecture.

Our meeting took place in the sixth floor viewing platform where you get stunning views across Glasgow. The light was changing continually today and I liked the effect of these dramatic clouds moving across the city.

Today we were getting ready for the Creative Mackintosh Festival which runs from the 12 - 27 October across all the Mackintosh Venues. This also links with our own 40th Anniversary celebrations at the Mackintosh Church.
