Sunshine on Leith

A last minute offer of a ticket for the premiere of Sunshine on Leith....really enjoyed this film - the cast, direction, singing & views of Edinburgh are just brilliant - including the Trainspotting 'how did you get there??' moments.

It's a film that leaves you with a smile on your face - although I did weep buckets through much of it (but hey, many songs can reduce me to tears whatever the circumstances). A well-deserved standing ovation in the Omni - go and see it! - then off to the after party at Jamie's Italian restaurant - best canapes ever.
