Blades of Carbon Fibre Grass.......

After an excellent event last night - myself and Mrs MD took breakfast and then had a ride on one of the new Blackpool Trams. Super machines - not got the character of the old 'rattlers' - but very modern, smooth and quiet.
Hopped off at the Tower, had a walk along the sea front and this is today's blip - ' Giant Blades of Grass'
These sculptures are made of Carbon Fibre and were erected in 2011. They represent 'dune grass' , are 30m high and sway in the wind.
