Henley Street

This morning I went to the dentist, luckily no work was required, but he did have to give them a good clean to remove the stains of six months of black coffee, and yes I do brush them twice a day! So it was after lunch when we went to Nero. The bad news was that the coffee machine was broken and in bits behind the counter being worked on, the good news was that they had filter coffee and tea, the even better news was that they were giving it away for free.

Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, is famous as the location of Shakespeare’s birthplace and the best coffee shop in town. The coffee is the reason we are there so often, though the backdrop of buskers, gift shops, barbers, cafes, library and the tourists make for an interesting place and never ending blip fodder.

As per usual I took some random shots and as I couldn’t decide which to use, threw some of them into a collage.
