50’s House

I’m sorry if I keep rattling on about the house, but it is occupying all my time at the moment so I guess it qualifies as blip journal material.

We did have a break today when Maureen and Ian came round for a cup of tea and a look round. We have cleared an area for chair and the sofa so at least we could sit comfortable.

We took delivery of the fridge/freezer, washing machine and cooker today. The fridge was a little bit of a challenge to get through the door, and finally came in through the garage, after removing the polystyrene packaging.

Today’s picture is a nostalgic nod at the fact that this is a 1950’s house; we’ve had this radio for a while but here it really fits in.
