Echinacea...

The name comes from the Greek word "echino" meaning sea urchin due to the spiny central disc. The species is native to North America and is much used in herbal medicine. It is even approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) for the prevention and treatment of the common cold, although how effective it is is still open to debate.
Had a lovely flight back up to Glasgow, got picked up by long suffering D and then met up with elder son for lovely Italian meal at La Lanterna... a lovely end to the working week!
