Harvest

It's been a busy day today, hence the rather late blip and no comments as yet! I thought I would take a photo of the whole harvest table arrangement today.

We also had lots of flowers, and another table arrangement done by someone else, in the church. Mary had done two lovely arrangements in the foyer as well as the table - she said she was exhausted afterwards. I think she has an excuse at her age!

We had a meagre lunch in aid of Tear Fund at church today - basically a lump of cheese, one roll and a bit of green salad, followed by a yoghurt. It was well supported and I think people enjoyed the company. It looks as though a good amount of money was raised.

Back to church for the evening service and I had to run the recorded backing tracks from the Clavinova as we had no accompanist. We have got a few more tracks on there now as one of the people who come along to play once a month in the evening doesn't mind staying on and adding a few more hymns/songs each time! So our repertoire is growing.

Home to a tin of rice pudding each as we were so hungry by that time! (We had had beans on toast for tea, but not having a full cooked meal does make a difference).
