St Ives' Meadow

Mr H helped my band out at Wilsden show, as our usual tuba player was taking her son to university today. The sun shone and the audience sat and listened and Corinthian Column did a cracking job shaking her bucket. Our last job of the summer season and it was still sunny... what a summer we've had.

I hadn't had time to take Reggie for a long walk this morning before going out with the band so Mr H and I met Miss H and Angus in the car park at St Ives and walked up the lane to the meadow. It is a relatively easy walk so not too much strain on Mr H's knee. With two ball throwers and 3 balls Reggie and Angus had a great time, especially as Mr H is better at ball throwing than I am. It was lovely to be out walking together again.

The trees have an autumnal look to them already and in the early evening sunlight it just looked lovely. Lets hope the sun continues for a while yet.
