At the end of the day

It has been a really full on day today and I am mentally exhausted. I spent most of it in Edinburgh where I spent time with my friend's daughters and joined a couple of other friends to discuss the service which is being held on Friday. All four daughters wished me to pass on to you how much they appreciated all your wonderful comments for their mother. They said it helped them enormously to read such warm words from folk who had never met her - so thank you so much.

Once home I took the patient dogs out for a quick walk - thankfully they should still have been tired from yesterday - and as I drove to the venue i had to stop and take a shot of the evening light on the trees. It seemed to sum up my day.
