Someone has tried to brighten up this old lock-up with a hanging basket but neglect has only added to the drabness.

However, I was drawn by the contrast of the orange basket against the blue-painted metal sheeting.


Sorry to be a bit later than usual this evening. I normally try to post between 9 and 9:30 pm. Various clubs that I belong to have started up again and tonight it was the Photographic Society so I didn't get in until 10 to 10. Tomorrow it is the Art Club, but that starts and ends 30 mins earlier than the PS so I should make it within my usual time-frame.


I also should state that I appreciate all of your visits, comments, stars and hearts. I'm afraid I don't socialise on here as much as some of you apparently do. I joined this site as a photographic challenge and that is what it remains. It forces me to get out every day and take photographs and consequently I have built up a far greater bank of images (that I am proud of) than if I had been left to my own devices where I would have been out (in fine weather) only about once or twice a week. As a consequence, I have captured many images that would not have been possible before. I have also been forced to be creative an make something presentable from not very much. Blip is a great site. (Maybe I should have saved all that to post on a Blip-birthday?)
