A light lunch today

I had a meeting in the afternoon today so we thought we would stay relatively close to home and have only a light lunch.

We went over to Menaggio where this photograph is taken at the side of the main square in front of the lake.

The meeting went well, so afterwards we stopped off on the way back to the apartment for a drink at the neighbourhood bar. A beer for me before we returned home and prepared the evening meal.

The other photos taken today were all quite touristy, pictures of a couple of villas and of the villages of Varenna and Bellagio. Instead here is something fairly anonymous!

Clear skies for most of the day, but in the evening there was quite a heavy haze over the hills. The forecast is for cloud tomorrow. Another reason for a blue sky photo today.
