The mad Scientist

We took Gulliver to see Teddington School tonight, it's Secondary Transfer open evening, Zebedee was in situ in the Science lab dissecting organs, demonstrating a sheeps' lungs being inflated, educating onlookers and generally fondling innards! Needless to say he LOVED IT! They managed to find a glove so Gulli could hold the heart. The teachers were delighted with Zebedee who has really settled in now after joining the school at Easter, phew what a relief!

As Zebedee is there Gulliver will automatically get in so I have only applied for one school and we are only looking round this one, a nice feeling to know where Gulli will be going, he really enjoyed looking around, they have amazing facilities and opportunities there and next year they will also have a 6th form, more info on Teddington School here if you're interested.

Zebedee has made so much progress since he's been there and is much happier and really enjoying learning and improving his grades, tonight we found out he has joined a creative writing group and is designing a Graphic Novel!

Gulliver went to a new after school club today called Little star Writing, he really loved it and was awarded top story!
A great day for both boys!

Gulliver also wrote a lovely poem at school

The Crackling Things

When the black cloak of the night appears
The crackling things prepare to fight with fear
They clash and gnash their teeth together
But sometimes the skin of hard rock and leather
Is too much for some and they go back to the heather
Where the black cloak of the the night apperared
Which had prepared them to fight with fear.
