EH2 2AD - rate the Scottish bonds

I don´t want to taking a role of agent provocateur or spin doctor but...

...during the day one of my friends in Czech republic (which is seriously interesting in trading and investments) sent me a link from the leading financial portal in the Czech Republic.

That short article was thought about the possibility of Scottish independence. Despite the fact that I´m not from that sector (economy, trading, investment), i must say that short article report about possible effects in case that Great Britain will be divided in two parts in future.

Don´t be angry on me for that but I guess that this should be the important question which needs clear and understandable answers from your MP (SNP) during last year of campaign.

I couldn´t translate that Czech article for you correctly because I´m not native speaker. Seriously I could say only that article is trying to explain a few things about possibilities which should be happening after the Scottish separation.

economic and financial aspects - very simple :

1/ dividing the up-to-date British debt in two parts (SCOTLAND vs rest of GREAT BRITAIN) - ratio, %
2/global value of brand new Scottish bonds (in case of independence)

Lenders of British bonds should not be so much delighted by the fact that at future time will be helding a claim for a small country that markets have no financial history (no offence please - try to see this facts via traders and investors optics - they want always the profit like usual). Small indebted countries today are not at course. Every new state starting from default position (in fact from year zero)
3/independent Scotland and possibility or necessarity to join EU
4/Changing the british pound for the new own currency in case that financial situation in independent Scotland will be going worst after that separation in next few years.

Very seriously I´m the last person which could say YES or NO for your own independence. In fact I came from separated republic as somebody of you maybe known from historical facts. And the truth is that we were (mean Czechoslovakia) not leading state like USA, CHINA, RUSSIA, GERMANY or UK. But dividing country in two parts should means not only a profit at all for all sides. Trust me.

So try to understand this blip like suggestion that independence in this unstable times means more that only strong fact that some (or most) of you are proud to be a Scottish and you want to choose independent way. Today´s world is still changing and especially money talks too much in these days as you know.

Simply quote : Every coin has two sides.

From one side you should be very attractive for foreign investors and tycoons and your independent laws should be providing the profit and the prosperity for whole independent nation.

From the other side you should be in position that you are facing the higher yields of government bonds, attacks of skeptical investors and fiscal tightening.

So try to find a lot of informations to be sure for right vote. And then you should go to say YES or NOT.

I promise that´s my last notice about Scotland´s referendum 2014 ;-)

At the end I must say that I took that today´s photo under the influence of that article. The truth is that the family on that picture is significant for this blip. Parents like the present and their child like the future. I´m wishing to them all the best for their future (independent or not independent) and the same for all of you ;-)

And please if you will be angry on me for that blip (especially you proud Scottish blippers), don´t start with the argument about oil reserves in North Sea.

Have a great and succesful day!
