Morgendämmerung

Walking the dogs this morning at the time that sparrows fart and the sun can be bothered to show itself above the horizon, I noticed for the first time that the leaves are turning autumnal brown.

Will soon be time to start cooking stews on the wood burner in the sitting room. Hate the bloody cold, but love the real fire and cooking smells that emanate around the house.

Dogs love it - so roll on you pesky weather!!
